SCM Engineering has completed the implementation of an operational planing and scheduling system on the basis of OMP Plus at a production site of one of the biggest agroindustrial holdings.
The project implementation was preconditioned by the need to include the Russian branch in the single planning system. Within the project framework, besides automation of production operational planning (scheduling) already implemented in Europe, there was a task to expand the functionality of the system in place through automation of planning and scheduling tasks (monthly plan by days) on the basis of the latest OMP Plus release.

OMP Plus by OM Partners has an intuitive interface and ensures timely collection of data on orders and production which allows for prompt changes in schedules and faster decision making.
According to Sergey Volkov, IT Department Director at SCM Engineering: "During this project implementation, it was important to account for customer's industry specifics and procedures which shall be observed to provide good quality of the end product. OMP Plus allows to meet these requirements in full measure. Thanks to support from the OM Partners office in Europe and strong involvement of the customer's management, the project was implemented in the shortest possible time, i.e. 8 months, including programing of modules for integration with the existing ERP system and production control system performed by customer's engineers."
Project implementation allowed to shorten the planning time more than three times, improve the planning process, and establish a single information environment for planning and order receipt.
